Why websites need maintenance.

Sites drift out of date

Hours change, services change, staff change. A site that still lists last year's prices quietly tells visitors nobody is minding the store.

Software needs patching

Every website runs on software that gets security updates. Applying them on a schedule is dull, and skipping them is how small sites get compromised.

Search rewards fresh, useful pages

A steady blog post a month, written around what your customers search for, is one of the most reliable ways a small business earns new search traffic.

You own it. We look after it.

There is no lock-in. You own the design, the code, and the content from launch day. A support plan just means that when you need a page changed, a post published, or a question answered, there is a team that already knows your site.

Website maintenance questions.

How much does website maintenance cost?

Made by Velocity support plans are $150 a month for Basic, $350 for Growth, and $750 for Scale. Hosting is separate, typically $20–$50 a month.

Do I have to sign up for a maintenance plan?

No. Every build includes 30 days of post-launch support, and after that a plan is optional. You own your website and your content, so you can also fly solo or take it elsewhere.

What counts as a minor content update?

Changes to existing pages — new hours, updated prices, a new photo, a revised service description, a staff change.

Can a maintenance plan include SEO?

Yes. The Growth plan includes one blog post a month, a monthly analytics report, and ongoing SEO tweaks. Scale adds bi-weekly content updates and quarterly strategy calls.
